Description

Attention: Professional Drivers:

Do you need to find the balance between the job you enjoy and the family you love?

At Lake Trucking we have the answer. For over 63 years Lake Trucking has grown from humble beginnings to the largest refrigerated carrier of fresh seafood out of Florida. We partner with our sister company Stokes Fish Company to transport their seafood as well as seafood from around the world to the Midwest all the way to the Rockies.

Our dedicated routes provide our team drivers with a regular 4-day route, allowing you to spend more time with your family, and or use the extra time to make more money. Our driver schedules are customized based on your financial and family needs. All our drivers are W-2 employees and are NOT 1099. Our dedicated routes take you to the same customers each week. This means you become the face of our company because you get to know our customers and they you.

We at Lake Trucking treat our drivers like no other company. It all starts from the top with our owners Ted and Margie Brozanski who are on site and are active every day to make sure their vision is realized. “We treat all of our team drivers like family which is one of our best traits” says Ted Brozanski, Owner/President. “That is why we have a turnover rate of just 7% vs the national average of 86% or higher. We provide competitive pay, good benefits, home time that no one can match in the industry and even more importantly we respect and admire what you do for our company and for America.”

“When the World Stopped (during COVID), We Kept Moving” is on the side of our trailers to remind everyone that drivers are special, and they need to be respected for what they do for America.

Our fleet consists of late model automatic Freightliner Cascadia tractors with inverters, refrigerators, microwaves, and XM Radio. Due to the number of miles that we operate, we lease our equipment from Ryder. This means we have Platinum roadside coverage should we have any mechanical issues. Our drivers are driving and making money, not sitting on the side of the road or in shops waiting for repairs. It costs us more to do this, but you are worth it.

If interested, go to www.laketrucking.com and click the “Drivers CDL-A” link and complete the application. Our safety team will contact you initially to review your information. They will then turn over the application to the owner to call you. At Lake Trucking we do not have recruiters and don’t want them. The owner will call you himself to find out what you are looking for, and hopefully you both will find the match made in heaven.
