Job Summary/ Key Responsibilities:
Job Summary
- Monitors information using MSC proprietary IT systems, Outlook, MSExcel and Power BI.
- Liaises with intermodal customers, US customs and various MSC departments globally as needed.
- Work closely with team members to achieve common goals, ensuring open lines of communication and mutual support.
- Actively participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project planning, offering constructive feedback and innovative ideas.
- Communicates quickly and effectively with respective vendors.
- Analyzes data and considers performance modifications and implements strategies to support process efficiencies.
- Establishes and maintains positive relationships with customers and vendors.
- Provides timely and accurate response to inquiries, following corporate guidelines.
- Anticipates potential problems before they arise as well as having problem solving skills to solve any unforeseen issues.
- Escalates unique or complex issues to the appropriate supervisor for resolution when necessary.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Key Competencies:
Required skills, experience, education
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in a similar role (supply chain, transportation, shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, customer service, etc.)
