Overview
We are seeking a CDL A Flatbed Driver to join our Team in the Grand Rapids, MI area. Overnight trips will be the exception. Your truck will be a Quad Axle 80,000# Flatbed with Conestoga Tarp System. This position offers competitive pay and a great work-life balance.
Responsibilities
- Transporting Injection and Compression molds and materials using a 80,000 GVW truck
- Ensuring safe and timely delivery of products
- Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintaining accurate logs and records
- Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Interact with Coworkers, Customers and Vendors in a professional manner
- Maintain clean and organized truck(s), Including basic maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record
- Air Brake Endorsement
- Previous experience driving flatbed trucks preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in all weather conditions
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Comfort driving a manual transission truck
- Reliable and punctual
- Great Communication and customer service skills
- Mechanical troubleshooting skills
- flexiblity on your staring time in order to meet customer expectations.
You should be proficient in:
